OUR COMMITMENTS - FAIR PLEY

We are delighted to welcome you to our establishment.

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious Green Key label for the first time in 2024. This award recognises our commitment to sustainable tourism and catering, joining the 1564 establishments sharing this vision in France.

From the outset, respect for the environment has been at the heart of our concerns, and this recognition reinforces our deep commitment. We work tirelessly, for ourselves, for you and for future generations, to minimise the impact of our activity on the environment.

WE RAISE AWARENESS AMONG OUR TEAMS AND CUSTOMERS

  • Our environmental manager has undergone specific training on the challenges of sustainable tourism, environmental conservation and CSR;
  • Our teams are trained in the eco-gestures to be observed in their daily tasks;
  • We choose our service providers and suppliers on the basis of their sustainable and social commitments;

WE SAVE WATER & ENERGY

  • Our team will exclusively replace the bathroom linen you leave on the floor and will leave the linen you hang on the hooks or dry towels.
  • Bed linen will only be changed if you request it from reception or by calling 9.
  • We have installed water economisers/pressure reducers on taps and showers so as not to deplete the resource;
  • We read our water and electricity meters every month to better manage our consumption;
  • We replace every light bulb with an LED or low-energy bulb, and have already fitted more than 75% of our lighting;
  • We have installed presence detectors / timers in common areas / corridors to limit energy waste.

WE LIMIT & SORT WASTE

  • We have set up several selective sorting points; all our rentals are equipped with a pre-collection bag;
  • We prefer to buy products in bulk or in large packages to limit unnecessary packaging.
  • We sort all types of waste, even bio-waste, for recycling in a methanization plant for redistribution to local players;
  • We offer only reusable, recyclable and environmentally-friendly products;
  • We have put up posters for our customers and employees inviting them to sort their waste as efficiently as possible, in order to comply with local regulations on the subject;
  • We have partnerships with local recycling companies and donate our old equipment;

WE ARE ATTENTIVE TO THE WELL-BEING OF OUR CUSTOMERS

  • Among other things, we cook meat-free meals, use seasonal and local produce and cater for special diets;
  • Our restaurant/snack menus include organic and/or fair trade products;
  • The cleaning products used in our rooms and common areas are all eco-labelled in order to reduce our environmental impact;
  • Our establishment is completely non-smoking;

AND MUCH MORE BESIDES

  • Our green spaces are maintained without pesticides, and we use alternative methods to combat weeds and insects;
  • We extend the life of our old materials and equipment by entrusting them to local companies for recycling;
  • Each year we commit to new criteria to perfect our approach, so don't hesitate to send us your ideas !

ECO-FRIENDLY RECOMMENDATIONS

Waste

  • Deposit used glass at the restaurant;
  • Drop off used batteries and pens at the reception;
  • Collect found magnetic keys to recycle them;
  • Opt for an email invoice instead of a printed one;
  • To avoid food waste, serve yourself again rather than overloading your plate;

Energy

  • Turn off the lights when you leave a room;
  • Unplug your computers and chargers when not in use;
  • Turn off air conditioning in rooms when they are empty or not occupied;
  • Close the windows when you leave your room;

Water

  • Staying at our hotel for two nights or more? You can opt-out of room cleaning by notifying reception, and you will receive a coupon for a free drink at the bar;
  • If you want your towels changed, just place them on the floor. Like bed linens, towels don't need to be changed every day;
  • Turning off the water while soaping in the shower can save you about 30 liters of water;
  • Use the glass provided to brush your teeth instead of leaving the tap running;

Responsible Purchases

  • Contribute to the local economy by consuming seasonal products;
  • Choose bulk products or those in recycled and recyclable packaging;
  • I prefer reusable products to disposable ones.

Thank you for supporting our approach during your stay !
